Magnetic Resonance Imaging they say. But I have another definition, 'Massive Rheumatalogical Irritation.'

Just got back from having an MRI scan of my lower lumbar regions. It's not much to ask is it? Please lay in one position without moving for 30 minutes. Ho Ho Ho, most amusing (not), and most painful.

In fact I had to give up on the third part of the scan. They thought that they had enough anyway. Now I'm back home and on the codeine big-time woo hoo!

Now it's time to go off and do battle with the insurance company that is handling my long term disability claim. Actually, I've just received a smashing two-page letter from the rheumatology consultant that is stuffed with science. It can only help.

Hexham - Northumberland - Loads of spectacular walks - all I need now are the joints to go with them! :)
